'You' denotes the person who has signed the booking form and is responsible for every member of the group on whose behalf the group contact has signed. If the booking form is signed on behalf of a company and this is clear on the booking form, 'you' means that company. If we accept a booking over the internet or by telephone 'you' means the person making the booking. The group contact is obliged to pay us all monies due under this agreement and if any member of the group decide not to proceed or claim a refund or if we agree to accept payments from them or if their credit card company grants them a refund, the group contact remains liable. We will credit any payments received from individuals towards the group booking price against the group contact's obligations.

3. Website Accuracy
We try to ensure that all information on our website (www.tayloralisongolf.com), in our brochure and on any promotional material is fully up to date. However, sometimes changes and errors do rarely occur once you have made your booking. You must ensure you check the details of your chosen  event (including the price) at the time of booking. We reserve the right to make changes to and correct errors in advertised prices and other details at any time before your event is confirmed.

4. Changes and Cancellation Policy
(i) By You
Should you wish to make any changes or cancel your booking after it has been confirmed, you must send your request to us in writing signed by the person who made the booking. (ii) By Us
On the odd occasion, we have to make changes to and correct errors on our website and in our brochure both before and after bookings have been confirmed and may have to cancel confirmed bookings. Whilst this is rare and we always endeavour to avoid changes and cancellations, we must reserve the right to do so.

Most changes are minor but occasionally we may have to make a "major change". A "major change" is where we would have to change the venue or booking date. All other changes are considered minor ones. If we have to make a major change or cancel, we will tell you as soon as possible. If there is time to do so beforehand, we will offer you the choice of the following options:-

(i) (for major changes) accepting the changed arrangements or (ii) purchase an alternative option from us, of a similar standard to that originally booked if available. We will offer you at least one alternative option of equivalent or higher standard for which you will not be asked to pay any more than the price of the original one. If this option is in fact cheaper than the original one, we will refund the price difference. (iii) cancelling or accepting the cancellation in which case you will receive a full and quick refund of all monies you have paid to us.

Please note, the above options are not available where any change made is a minor one. If we have to make a major change or cancel we will pay you compensation if appropriate and subject to the following exceptions. Compensation will not be payable and no liability beyond offering the above mentioned choices can be accepted where we are forced to make a change or cancel as a result of unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control, the consequences of which we could not have avoided even with all due care such as those mentioned in point 5 below. No compensation will be payable and the above options will not be available if we cancel as a result of your failure to comply with any requirement of these booking conditions entitling us to cancel (such as paying on time).

5. Force Majeure
This means that we will not pay you compensation if we have to cancel or change your travel arrangements in any way because of war, riot, industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural or nuclear disaster, fire, adverse weather conditions or other unforeseen circumstances that may amount to force majeure.

6. Liability
We accept responsibility for the acts and/or omissions of our employees, agents, suppliers and sub-contractors providing they were at the time acting within the scope of their employment except where these result in your illness, bodily injury or death. In addition, we accept responsibility should the services which we are contractually obliged to provide prove deficient or not of a reasonable standard. These acceptances of liability do not apply if there has been no fault on our part nor on the part of our suppliers, and the loss, death or personal injury suffered is attributable to your own acts or omissions, or to the acts or omissions of a third party not involved in providing the services which make up your break/event. Nor does the acceptance of liability apply if your death, injury or illness is caused by an event whose consequences could not have been avoided or anticipated even exercising all due care, or to an event which, even exercising all due care, could not have been foreseen or forestalled. They are also conditional upon you assigning to us any rights you might have against any other persons whose acts or omissions give rise to our liability. In all cases liability and compensation are restricted in accordance with the provisions of all applicable international conventions which concern transport and accommodation. We accept liability to you in accordance with regulation 15 of the Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992 for the proper performance of our obligations under the contract irrespective of whether such obligations are to be performed by us or by other suppliers of services.

7. Insurance
Please note that it is your responsibility to ensure that you are adequately insured.

8. Dress Code
Proper dress should be worn at all times on the course and in the clubhouse. No denim, no trainers, no collarless or sleeveless shirts are allowed on the golf course or in the clubhouse. Sleeveless shirts are accepted for ladies. Full details of dress code for each relevant venue will be included in your itineray pack. We cannot accept any responsibility for any ruling by the venue if you or any of your group is unable to play due to inappropriate dress.

9. Tee Times
We will do everything we can to confirm your requested tee times, however golf courses do reserve the right to alter preferred tee times. If for any reason your requested tee times are not be available, we will offer you the closest possible alternative.

10. Etiquette & Behaviour
When going on a TaylorAlison golfing event, it is up to you to take notice of the relevant club's course etiquette when you go and play. These are fairly similar but do differ with certain local rules. You must adhere to these rules which will be easily accessible for you to read at each course. They are, from time to time, also found on the reverse of the course scorecard. A knowledge of etiquette and the rules of golf is, however, expected and each golf course reserves the right to refuse access if it is judged that individuals do not display the required knowledge. We cannot be held responsible in these circumstances.

We expect all customers to have respect for others and if any actions by you or any member of your party cause upset, distress or danger to others and/or damage to property, we or the supplier of the service in question will be immediately entitled and without prior notice to terminate the event of the person(s) responsible. Should this situation arise, full payment for any damage or loss must be paid directly at the time to the venue in question and if you, or any member of your party fail to do so, you will be directly responsible for subsequent claims made against us, along with our own and the other party's full legal costs, as a result of your actions. The person(s) concerned will also be required to leave the venue/hotel or other service. As a result, we nor the supplier will have any further responsibility toward such person(s) which includes any return travel arrangements. No refunds will be made and we will not pay any expenses or costs incurred as a result of the termination.

11. Handicap Certificates
Most courses require a handicap certificate which we will advise you of at the time of booking.

12. Weather/Playing Conditions
It is expected that bad weather will occur during the year particularly during the winter and off-season (October-March). If poor weather prevails we cannot be held responsible. Courses can, at their discretion, close the golf course. In the event of this happening we will notify you as soon as possible. We will endeavour to postpone your event at the same venue should you wish not to depart or try and obtain green fee vouchers for you to play at your discretion at a later date. No refunds are available under any circumstance for cancellations made due to course closure. If the course decides play will be on temporary tees and greens during your event, particularly during the off-season, this is considered an accepted part of playing winter golf and no refunds will be made in this situation.

13. Complaints
If you have to make a complaint or experience any problems during your break/event please immediately inform us (if we are present) or the club, hotel or supplier concerned. All verbal complaints must be formally put in writing and if the matter cannot be rectified at the time, you must notify us, in writing, within 14 days of completion of your break/event. If you fail to follow this procedure, it could affect your entitlement to claim any compensation where this would or may otherwise have been appropriate.

14. Special Requests
If you have any special requests, please inform us as soon as possible in writing. Although we will endeavour to meet any such requests to include dietary, accommodation, medical or otherwise we regret we cannot guarantee to do so.

This contract shall be deemed to be made at the Registered Office of TaylorAlison Golf Limited, 16-18 Quarry Street, Guildford, Surrey GU1 3UF and is subject to English Law and the jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
