The Tour

Regarded as The Home of Golf and venue for the Open Championship 26 times, the Old Course attracts thousands of golfers from all over the world every year. As the oldest golf course in the world it was here, around 600 years ago where golf was first played. This tour includes guaranteed tee times on the famous Old Course together with its sister course the New and the wonderful Kingbarns Links just up the road. A hire car is also included in the package together with 2 nights luxury accommodation in the 5 red star St Andrews Old Course Hotel.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Edinburgh Airport where hire car will be waiting for you. Proceed to the 5 star Old Course Hotel in St Andrews where you will be staying for next few days. Your first round of golf will be played today at at Kingsbarns Links, just 5 minutes drive from the hotel. Once you have completed your round, dinner will be waiting for you back at the hotel in the evening with a chance to relax in one of the hotel bars or the famous 'Jigger Inn' adjoined to the hotel and overlooking the famous 17th 'Road Hole' on the Old Course.

Day 2: After a full Scottish Breakfast golf will be played on the St Andrews New Course. You will have viewed from your course view bedroom. Once you have finished your round, you are invitedto take a tour of the excellent British Golf Museum, a short walk from the hotel in St Andrews. Once you have also taken in the sights of the historic town of St Andrews, dinner will again be ready for you back at the hotel at the end of your day.

Day 3: Today you will play one of your most memorable rounds of golf.  After breakfast you will make your way to the 1st tee of the Old Course at St Andrews. By playing the Old Course you automatically become part of its history. You'll be reminiscing about the experience for some time. At the end of the day return the hire car back to Edinburgh airport and depart.
